The Jewish people were sinning in gods eyes.

God punished the jewish people, by letting the king of Moab…Eglon rule over the jewish people.

The people of Israel cried and prayed for god.

Ehud Ben Gera had enough of eglon, he was left handed person. Most people at the time were right handed so they would pull their sword from their left hip. When Ehud went to the palace he put his sword on his left hip to pretend like he was right handed so the guards asked him to move it to his right hip little did they know that he was more comfortable on his left hand. Ehud told Eglon that he had a secret a secret he can only tell him. So everyone left the room and Ehud took out the sword and penetrated the whole sword inside eglons fat stomach. Ehud then escaped through the balcony.

Israel and the jewish people lived in peace for the next 80 years.
