what are volcanos

A volcano is a mountain that has Lava (hot, liquid rock) coming out from a magma chamber under the ground, or did have in the past .A volcano is a mountain that opens downward to a pool of molten rock below the surface of the earth. When pressure builds up, stuff happens and Gases and rock shoot up through the opening and spill over or fill the air with lava . the burst can cause lateral blasts, lava flows, hot ash flows, mudslides, avalanches, falling ash and floods. Volcano eruptions have been known to knock down entire forests. A bursting volcano can trigger tsunamis, flash floods, earthquakes, mudflows and rockfalls.

how does volcanos burst?
The Earth’s crust is made up of huge slabs called plates, which fit together like a puzzle. These plates sometimes move. The moving plates causes earthquakes near the edges of the plates. 

How many volcanos are there ?

There are more than 1500 active volcanoes on the Earth. We currently know of 80 or more which are under the oceans. Active volcanoes in the U.S. are found mainly in Hawaii, Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington.

my story 

i woke up in the morning and i heard yelling i looked out of the window and i saw many people running in panic. the volcano was about to burst. my parents ran into my room and screamed at me run outside immediately.when i got outside and there was people screaming everywhere!! then my mom got my hand and ran as fast as she could out of the city. then , a few months later we came back to the city , all of the houses were destroyed . a lot of people bought new houses but unfortunately some people were left homeless .

what did you should and shouldnt to do when a volcano bursts :

you should run as fast as you can out the city.

you shouldn’t panic, just clam and ran away.

you should look for someone you know.

you also should look for an adult that can help you.

you shouldn’t  be around flammable material .

you should be careful from your surroundings .

you shouldn’t get too close to the lava .

you should stay in a high place so the lava wont get to you.
