How do you get students to practice their oral skills in English? With TED talks of course. Here is our first group of students who have volunteered to participate in our new “Speak English” Class at Shenkar College.

First we watched an interesting TED talk.

We learned just a bit of vocabulary and proper spelling.

And then we broke into pairs and discussed various aspects of the TED presentation. For example, “Why don’t we say thank you more often?” “Who haven’t we thanked in a long while. Why not?” Fun and inspirational!
