Once upon a time in a little village lived a little girl named Polina. She loved animals and she dreamed of a pet but her parents hated her from when she was a baby and treated her like garbage. She was smart and also loved reading books and she even read herself a bed time story every night. She loved to sneak out of the house to the library when her parents are at work. Her dad works in a fast food restaurant and her mom works at a school, and no shes not a teacher shes the lunch lady. Polina wanted only one thing for her birthday, a pet. Her mom was to lazy to take care of the pet and the father declined too so she wanted to care for it by herself but still, NO NO and more NO sounds and yelling!

On her birthday after school she saw an abandoned dog sleeping beside the house door. She picked him up and took him into the house she showered him and put him under the bed. She wrote the adventure she had in school (a book about that is coming soon) and she also wrote about the dog. “im going to name you… fluffy!“ she said looking under her bed excitedly. The dog tilted its head and sniffed Polinas hand in curiosity.

Polina heard the door open and the dog was startled, he backed of and Polina stood there with a fake smile on her face. “Clean da dishes you little brat!” said Polinas mother in anger, “yes mommy” said Polina while looking at her feet checking if fluffy was there. Her mom slammed the door and Polina sighed and sang happy birthday to herself while petting fluffy. “Oh fluffy, she sighed, “what would i do without you” Polina scratched fluffys head, stood up and did the dishes while her mother watched television.

Polina walked to her room quietly to check on fluffy, when she opened the door she saw fluffy glowing a bright orange and her bed floating. She was shocked. She opened her mouth in disbelief and put fluffy down. The bed stopped floating and fluffy wasn’t glowing anymore. She didn’t want to complain to her parents because she knew they wouldn’t believe her or any child but she hugged fluffy in her arms to keep him safe and put him in the closet. “I don’t care what ever you are but ill keep you safe until i find your owner.” She said worried about the magic dog.

She walked out of her room nervously continuing cleaning the dishes. Her mother looked at her all angry and red like a tomato “ you call dat cleanin’? clean harder little brat!!!” Her mother said while breaking a pile of plates Polina cleaned. “Oh and clean dat if you would, NOW!” Polina cleaned the mess and a tear came out of her eye while her mother got back to watching television.
