The story of Ruth

where was a rich man named Elimelech , who wanted to leave Israel because was a famine.

Elimelech left the Land of Israel with his wife Naomi and his two sons.

Elimelech and Elimelech’s family leave for Moab

Ruth, who was a Moabite princess, didnt like her religion.
She became friends with Elimelech’s family and loved Judaism
Then one of Elimelech’s sons married Ruth
Ruth gave up her royal life and became a Jew

Ruth’s wedding

Elimelech and his sons died.
Naomi became a widow.
She called her brides (ruth and orfa) and told them to return to their country so they could get married again. Because she is returning to Israel.
Orpa kissed Naomi and went back to her country.
Ruth cried and wanted to stay with Naomi
In the end Ruth went with Naomi to Israel.

Naomi departs from Orpa and goes with Ruth to Israel

Naomi and Ruth came when it was harvest.

Naomi was tired from walking, so Ruth went alone to harvest wheat for them to have food

Ruth came to the field and saw a lot of people harvesting wheat,a man called Boaz called her and told her that take from his wheat Ruth took from the wheat and wanted to go to her house Boaz told her to wait and in the end she can take more wheat from what was left. Ruth waited with Boaz until the end of the harvest and Ruth took a box of wheat.

She thanked Boaz and went to her home

Ruth returned to her home and told Naomi about what happened to her.

Naomi happy that Ruth connects with new people.

After Boaz married Ruth and they lived happily ever after.

Which character we admire? why?

The character that we are admire is Naomi . beacuse she behaved like a Ruth’s mother , and she halped her all the way.

She took Ruth along with her even though she knew she might be hard and worried about Ruth.

Naomi is very kind and brave.
