It started as a normal evening at the sea.

But as the sun went to bed

The sky began to turn things red. 

The waiter turned red, 

As did the chair, 

And the guy sitting there.

Fancy purses turned a crimson hue, 

Cheaper handbags did it, too. 

Coffee turned red. 

The signs over my head. 

There was red in the water,

Red on the bridge,

Red everywhere, 

And even the fridge. 

You might not believe me,

Was it all in my head?
