Wolverine fights with many people and he is very strong. He is a character in the movie “The X-Men”. But did you know that Wolverine is the name of an animal?

Wolverines live in cold places, like Canada, Siberia and Lapland. They look like bears and have long, brown hair which keeps them warm. their big feet help them walk on the snow. Wolverines build their homes under the ground and they look after their babies ther.

Wolverines are small animals, but they are very strong and clever. They can walk a very long way withput stopping to rest. They can swim well and climb trees. Sometimes a wolverine jumps from a tree onto the back of a big animal that has food. Then the wolverine takes the food from the big animal.Many big animals are scared of the small wolverines, because they are so clever and strong.
