When planting flowers some people have a talent for it. They may say they have a “green thumb,” meaning they have a talent for growing plants. Not everyone has a green thumb, but planting can easily be learned by all.
First, you need to decide which type of flower you want to plant and gather all of your supplies. It is important that you check for specific planting instructions for any flower you want to plant before planting it. Depending on the instructions, you should start by digging a small hole inside the pot.
Once you have created a small hole for the flower, remove the flower from the plastic container it comes in and transfer it to the hole you made. Before covering up the hole, make sure to add some flower fertilizer to help the flower grow strong.
After the fertilizer has been added, you can start to fill in the empty spaces with dirt. Make sure not to cover any part of the stem of the flower.
The flower should be watered once it is safely transferred over. You should water your flowers regularly unless you are expecting rain. You are now done and ready to enjoy your freshly planted flowers.
