First Reason: You don’t like to be watched, especially when you’re giving a presentation. Go ahead. Leave the audience in the dark. Maybe they are exhausted and will appreciate the opportunity.

Reason Number Six: It’s difficult to tell a story using Powerpoint. But if you hate to tell stories, then it’s a great excuse!

Second reason: Hey, no need for internet. In this day and age where everyone is using the net, you can be a maverick and stand out in the crowd. Be defiant! Be yourself! Use powerpoint!

Reason Number Nine: Powerpoint is great for unidirectional talks, not requiring audience participation. Powerpoint is not very good for interactive talks, but wouldn’t you prefer it if your audience just shut up and listened?

Reason Number Ten: Powerpoint costs the same, whether you have three slides or three hundred. So make as many as you want. Don’t time yourself. And don’t let the crowd know how many are left.
