Oh, hi, I’m on the air. I was dreaming about chickens.
Hello everyone,
and welcome to “Show and tell with Dr. Mel”. I’m Dr. Mel,
And we have a letter, And our letter today is from Paulo,
and Paulo is fron Rio de janeiro. That’s in Brazil.
Hey, People in Brazil speaks Portuguese.
And he writes to me: “Como vai Melzinho?”
Which I think means: “How are you little Mel?”
So I should answer him in Portuguese: “Tudu bem”
What Paulo wants to know is “what is the difference between a hipopotamus and a rhinosaurus?”.
Well, today on the show we have two special guests…
I think I hear a phone ring..
Ring ring… ring ring…
Hi, show and tell with Dr. Mel, its Dr. Mel speaking.
Oh, hi Sam (Sam is our producer).
What?! You couldn’t get the hipopotamus on the show? He wouldn’t fit in the door?
Well, what about the rhinosaurus? Ha, he wouldn’t fit in eather? You want me to find smaller guests for the show…Ok, I can do that.
Hello everyone,
and wellcome to “Show and tell with Doctor Mel”.
And today we have two special guests – mind you rather small ones.
Today we are going to talk about vegtebles and fruits, and we have on the show a bunch of little tomatoes. These tomatoes are called cherry tomatoes, because, I guess, they are red like cherries,
and they are small, and they grow in vines.
The tomatoes are delicious and nutricious, full of vitamins and lycopene.
Ahh, you shouldn’t eat the stems though.
And we have on the show with us Thomas, the talking cherry tomato.
Hi Thomas, how are you?
He say’s he is fine.
And we have another guest on the show – I’ll just grab him,
he is moving a bit,
Chuck, the talking cherry.
Ahh, you are a little upset?
Mmm… you don’t like real cherries?
He saye he doesn’t like cherry tomatoes.
Lets have a friendly discussion, we call it a debate:
Well, we start it with you, Chuck the cherry:
Well, Chuck says that tomatoes are tomatoes. They are not even fruits.
Thomas says that they are. They have seeds.
Chuck says that cherries grow on trees.
Tomas says that tomatos grow on vines, but they are still fruits and they are sweeter than cherries.
“What are you talking about” says Chuck the cherry, he says cherries are the sweetest things and you shouldn’t be called cherry tomatoes, you are not a cherry.
Hey, guys, this is a friendly debate.
He says cherries are not always red.
He says tomatoes are sometimes green.
He says…@#$%^&
He says….?<>(*=+*
Hey guys,
this is supposed to be a friendly disccussion.
Hey!!!!
Stop it…
Stop it!! Stop it!!
Stop it !! Stop it !!
Stop fighting on my show!!
You know what?
Oh…
mmm…
mmm…
delicious.
Nutricious.
A cherry and a cherry tomato.
Hmmm… wonderful.
Oh, I guess that’s all for Thomas the talking cherry and Chuck the tomato, or vice versa.
