Year six has been a tough year full of so many different opportunities. From sport competitions, to finding new friends. It has all been a tough but amazing experience. I have discovered a passion for many different things and hope to continue to find a burning passion in each and every one of them. Yes, year 6 has been one of the most emotional and hardest year I’ve ever had, but that did not stop me from having a great time.
Finding my true friends
The friends I had for the past 7 years I’ve been in C.I.S are still the same friends I have(unless they’ve left).
In year 5, I had a gang of best friends but the tightest friendship I had was between Kika, Muna and I. We were and still are the best of friends and even called ourselves MKD. But in year 6 we were all split up and we found ourselves hanging with different people (even though half the time we were still with each other). I grew stronger friendships with the friends I still had and made new friendships, I also lost a few friendships slowly. Currently, one of my tightest friendships is with one of my bff’s Zara. She is always there for me no matter what and i’m there for her, she continues to give me the best advice. Are friendship is something that can never be lost no matter what. No one can separate or bring us down. We stick together in the toughest times. If your reading this Zara, your the best and nothing can change that…ever.
African Studies
In African Studies we were divided into two groups in our class, the same things were done in other classes. Overall we were 8 groups. Over 4 weeks we were given countries to research on. After those 4 weeks we did a presentation for the parents and judges. My group came second in presentation. It was a very fun experience and below is a picture of my group.
What my friends think about me
