Welcome to ‘Adventures around Europe’ project. We hope you and your pupils enjoy it while reading.
The first steps to follow are these:

This is an international eTwinning project and it is designed for 4-11 years old students.
The partner schools are from Italy, Turkey, Litvania, Poland, Spain and Croatia.
All the partner students did their best to collaborate together.
DURING ACTIVITIES:
Art. We made handcrafts, related or not, with the mascot is visiting us and show other members.
Mascots day. We learned about food, traditions, culture, … celebrating Greece’s day, Croatia’s day, …
Festivals. We celebrated different festivals with mascots.
Using web 2 tools in classroom was also an innovative activity. Students loved creating online posters, word clouds and playing digital games about the project mascots and partner countries.
The students worked in groups and individualy, sharing and caring on their tasks. They learned by doıng. During project activities, students needed to work together and shared their activities with each other. To take responsibility and work with others helped to build students’ self esteem.
During the project activities, Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Learning by doing methods were used and integrated it into our curriculums. So, this project is easily integrated into our curriculum.
The communication between the partners has been established very well from the very beginning. In this project, partner teachers used effective communication to build trust among partner schools.
During PARTNER INTRODUCTIONS activity, we shared our information about ourselves, our schools, our cities where we live and our countries into related project padlet collaboratively.
The project motivated the partners to improve their English language skills through etwinning platform. The students communicated in English and that helped them to improve their speaking and writing skills. They had the opportunity to learn from other countries and learn about different cultures and traditons.
The teachers had the opportunity to meet technology and use them in classrooms, they had the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences, they learnt new ways of teaching.
