A brief account on Myths and Legends

2018 is the year dedicated to the theme of Cultural Heritage. Every country has a lot to present on this issue. 

Myths and Legends came up after a short brainstorming in our class. We decided to make a survey on Myths and Legends, their origin, their inspiration, stories and their impact on people in different countries.

What do we mean when we say Myths and Legends?

It is true that we are all keen on stuff that is related to horror and mystery. We have some extraordinary stories to tell and impress everyone. It is essential for all of us to know things about our past and how our ancestors reflected their lives and nature.

Generally speaking a myth is a traditional semi-true story which has been passed from person to person. Usually such stories are about some being or hero or even an event without necessarily a natural explanation.

ICT tools were introduced and used for our project.

Αυτοί ήταν οι πιο δημοφιλείς και γνωστοί θεοί για τους περισσότερους , όμως οι θεοί της Σκανδιναβίας ξεπερνούν τον αριθμό των 30 καθώς και το πάνθεον της Σκανδιναβίας χωρίζεται σε 9 βασίλεια τα οποία είναι: Βάναχαϊν, Άσγκαρντ

( βασίλειο των Τιτάνων), Σβαρταχάιμ,Άλφαϊμ ( βασίλειο των ξωτικών ) ,Μίντγκαρντ ( βασίλειο των ανθρώπων), Γιότενχαϊν, Νιβάνταλιρ, Νίλφαϊμ (γνωστό ως και Χέλιχαϊμ ο κόσμος των νεκρών) και Μάσπελχαϊμ. Το κάθε βασίλειο έχει τους δικούς του θεούς!

What have we learnt?

We learnt lots of things about the legends and myths that exist around the world!
We did really interesting search about the ancient religions of many different cultures

and we found about the past stories of their people!

Reading all these stories and working on a project on them, help you learn more about the world around you and gain an interest on exploration and learn more and more about it!
