פרק ח’

Hashem then told me he would give me the king and the city and the loot. He told me he would assist me but it is not a holy war but we must do work. The work is very difficult we must make ambushes of a total of 30,000 to the west of the city Ai. But the work payed of and we got some of the reward.

So I chose the 30,000 and they set of to the west of Ai. But now I’m worried will they be able to get to the ambush silently? Will they wake the city? Will the get caught?

I approached the city with the rest of Israel then ran to lure out the army of Ai. as they leave the city open the ambushes sneak in and burn the city with fire. They took the loot and cattle and I raise my Javelin and we attack the army behind us and the ambushes come and attack from behind. But the hardest part is that at the same time we have to find the king in all the slaughter. But what if he dies? Or gets away? But let’s hope for the best because as all wars go, I must sadly impale him after he watches his city burn and his people die. But I will be kind and grant him the reward of a peaceful burial.
