Bohemian Rhapsody, Wayne’s World from 1:10

The scene in which Wayne, Garth, and friends lip-sync to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in an AMC Pacer is one of the most well-known scenes in the film.[30] Due to its prominent appearance in Wayne’s World, “Bohemian Rhapsody” reached #2 in the United States and reignited the band’s popularity in the country.[31]

47

How to write your own Disney song:

48

Techniques that Make Disney Songs Uniquely Disney and Great

Story that moves you from A to B

“I want” something – song types – intro, villain song,

work songs

they do more with less:

cut down on chorus – more info, more story

less repetition and repeated elements, more unique words

49

changes in tempo and meter

e.g. in ‘be our guest’- five different tempos

double the number of chords in a song

more key changes

50

Talking about Disney, check this out:

Development of “I wanna be like you” from Jungle Book
