Movie Report – Coco

During the Chanukah vacation I have seen together with my Family a new Disney Movie by the name “ Coco”. “Coco” is an American animation movie that was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The Movie tells a story about a young Mexican boy named Miguel, from a small tone in the middle of Mexico called Santa-Cruz. The story revolves around Miguel’s Family history and around the Mexica day of the death celebrations.

The boys loved music but his family heritage does not allow anyone from the family to love music. The hate for music comes due to his grate grandfather how left his grate grandmother seeking a carrier as a musician. Coco is the name of the grandmother which miss her father during all the years. Miguel loves music and wants to become a musician, against his families will. Miguel ran away from his home to participate in a music competition, but he is missing a guitar. Being sure his grate grandfather was a famous musician, he sneaked into the memorial place of his grand grandfather and stole his guitar. Stilling a dead man’s guitar brought him to the land of the dead.

Miguel went through many adventures in the land of the dead, but his time was running out. Miguel needed to receive a blessing from one of his family member in the land of the dead before sunrise otherwise he will stay in the land of the dead for ever (he will die). Unfortunately, his family would not give him a blessing without giving a condition, that he would not become a musician. After finding that the famous musician is not his real grate grandfather, but rather a different person, his family finally got reunited. He got the blessing just before his grandmother died, sending to her the last message from his real grate grandfather. The message was that his misses her and remember her all those years. Miguel sang a song to his grate grandmother and she joined him in singing.

I liked this movie very much, because it is an interesting movie, it has funny, emotional and surprising moments. The movie exposes the audience to the Mexican culture and believes, which are very colorful, where death is just another phase. The day of the death is both a sad and happy holiday as expressed in the movie. In addition, I liked the Mexican music, it has lots of rhythm and guitars. I like guitars and play a guitar as well, therefore for me it was lots of fun to see the movie. I would recommend to people of all ages to go and see the movie. I saw people of all ages got excited and started to cry at the end of the movie.

I wrote the report by myself. It was an interesting experience. I used the internet and searched for many new words which helped me express myself better and the tell the story of the movie I saw. It was reasonable to use the ourboox web, but I prefer word as it has many editing options which make your report look much nicer.
