Super Star Quadrilateral Fight

Once, in a city called Quadrilateral city, there were shapes. All these shapes were quadrilaterals. They They all lived happily until one day.

One day the shapes got into an argument. The argument was about who the super star shape was. You would hear screaming on every street.

The next day they decided they were going to have a competition. It was on the news everywhere. The news said, “The competition starts tomorrow, everyone get ready!”.

One day later, all the shapes arrived with their groups. They come prepared for the contest or competition. Then it started.

“Rectangle, how many names do you have?”, the announcer asked. Then, the announcer asked all the other quadrilaterals the same question. And they all answered.

Then the announcer said that they would make one shape go out of the competition. Then the announcer said, ” And the shape leaving the competition is the trapezoid and kite, you guys are only kite’s, quadrilaterals, and trapezoid’s”.

After that, all the other shapes felst calm. The kite and trapezoid got sad and went home. Then the other shapes got rest for the next day.

One day later, the shapes came back for the second round. The announcer came and said, “Are you ready?”. Then, all of the quadrilaterals shouted “Yes!”.

The announcer went around and asked the parallelograms how many names they had. Then they answered, “Three”.

Then the announcer said, “Do any other quadrilaterals have three names?”. They all shouted back, “No!”.

The announcer looked at the parallelograms and said, “You guys, you are out of the competition, you guys are only, quadrilaterals, polygons, and parallelograms”.

The parallelograms started to cry as they walked home with their heads down. And the others went home to rest with their heads held high.

The next day was the finals! All the shapes arrived really excited. Then the announcer arrived looking super fancy, wearing a suit.

Then the announcer asked ” Rhombuses and rectangles, you have four names, right?”. Then they all nodded. “And the squares you have six names, right?”, said the announcer. The shapes all nodded.

“The winner of the super star competition is the square?”, the announcer said. The rectangles and rhombuses weren’t sad, just disappointed because they knew what would happen.

The crowd cheered for the winner! Now they knew who the super star shapes was and why. And they lived happily ever after.
