One morning full of math Lily was looking for shapes. Lily’s favorite type of shape are mostly polygons. One day Lily was strolling by the hallways . She passed a girl that was talking about shapes that ARE NOT polygons . ” Everyone knows that shapes that are mot polygons are either open or curved” the clever girl said.

That girl’s name was Vennesa. Lily walked even more deeper and deeper in the hallway. She saw a math poster from her math teacher and it said…

” GREETINGS STUDENTS” 

• ” There is a competition featuring polygons and shapes that are not polygons”

“Oh will you look at that… that  is the perfect time for  me and the polygon lover”

“I”M GONNA DO IT”                    said  Lily.

Lily went back in the hallway and tried to talk to Vanessa . When she did get Vanessa said yes and they both had a fierce but yet weird look at each other.

THEY BOTH AGREED TO MATCH!!!!!

Many days were passed . It was the day of the match ! ” Okay … i have been studying for DAYS now, Polygons are shapes that are closed and not curved.” 

“PLAYERS,NOW REPORT TO THE AUDITORIUM FOR THE COMPETITION”

“I guess now it’s time to see if all of that studying payed off” mummbled Lily.

“Good evening students and faculity my name is Lily Andersons and today i will be starring this evenings contest. So the players are Venessa Green and Me;Lily Anderson.

“Hi my name is Venessa Green , as you can see i am very shy and i am looking foward to winning this contest” Whispered Venessa

“What is the definition of a polygon “

” A polygon is a shape that is closed and not curved” said Lily nervously

“What is the definition of a shape that is not a polygon”

“The deinition of a shape that is not a polygon are shapes that are open or curved”. Mummbled Venessa.

Both girls gave up because it’s clearly ONLY the opposite. 

End of the day they became friends forever talking about both kinds of shapes.
