Oliver Twist

Oliver Twist is a young orphan boy who lives in an orphanage in England.

The manager is very cruel and starves the children.

One day Oliver asked for more food and was punished by the manager.

He was sent to a dark room for two weeks.

Oliver decided to run away and find hope in London. He walked for seven long days until he reached the city.

He was very tired and hungry. A young boy offered him a home. Oliver was overjoyed and decided to go with him.

He was welcomed by Fagin the owner of the house who explained to him that he needed to learn how to play the game “pick a pocket”.

One day Oliver saw one of his friends taking money from a man’s pocket and understood that this was no game.

People began to shout: “Stop the thief”. Oliver was scared and began running.

A police officer caught him and Oliver was placed in jail.
