Oscar Fingal O’Flahertie Wills Wilde was born on 16 October 1854.He studied at Oxford. While studying at Oxford, Wilde won the Newgate Prize for the poem “Ravenna”.They sued him for the book Portrait of Dorian Gray under the accusation that the book aroused among youth the desire to have homosexual sex. After a second trial he was found guilty and had to go to London’s prison for two years.When he was in his health prison Deirdre and finally died on 30 November 1900 because of meningitis.

summary of the book

was a painter under name besil and he paint very beautiful portrait of Dorian gray. when Dorian saw the portrait he love it very mach but He was jealous of his own portrait because in the futer he will get old and ugly and the portrait not.He asked for a wish. to be beautiful for ever and the portrait get older. And it came true and from that point start to be created many problem.

Characters

sybil vane- was artist in the theater he was very beautiful. she and Dorian met when he go to theater they are want to marry but dorian leave her.

basil hallwars- he was a painter. they met in the party at lady brandons. lady brandons introduce besil to him because he want that. they became a friends and he start to paint his portrait.

lord hanry- hanry and dorian met when hanry came to visit basil and talk with him and in that point he met dorian and they became friend.

Dorian personalty

Dorian was very beautiful man. before the portrait  was painting he was very Gentle, polite and in love with himself. but after that u can said the pitcher take his soul and he became very Evil, disgusting and even a murderer.

the Picture is the mirror of the soul

it is mean that with your Picture the people can to understand a lot of thinks about you for examplel if I am paint sunny day with a lot of children paly out side it is mean  that I am happy and maybe gonna play to. but if I am paint rain without some think funny it mean that i am sad and in a bad mood.

reflection

when I am wrote my Work, I liked the most the part where I needed to write to 3 Characters a short summary because it was the easiest.The hardest part was to explain the saying(the Picture is the mirror of the soul) that I could not find the meaning on the Internet.I did not really like such a job because it takes a long time so if you ask me I would rather test.
