The Frog and the Rabbit

On one sunny day, the rabbit saw a small frog resting near the water. It was hot day.

The rabbit called the frog and said:” You are slow and weak animal”.

The frog got angry and sad and replied to the rabbit:” No I am not weak, I am small but not weak.”

“I will be happy if you prove to me that you are not weak” said the rabbit. 

The frog kept thinking, how can he prove to the rabbit that he is not weak like he thinks.

After long time an idea crossed his mind. He can ask the rabbit to make a race, but it must be near the rivers path, because he knew that the rabbit can not swim.

So he called the rabbit and told him, the rabbit said yes, right away. He never thought about the river, so was arrogant.

Next day all the animals gathered to see the race and who wins.

The race began and the rabbit started to run fast, he was happy that he left the frog behind.

Until he reached the river. The rabbit can not swim. “What can I do now?” Said the rabbit.

He sat and started to cry.

And so came the frog, he was happy and glad. He saw the rabbit and said:”Why are you here?”

The rabbit:” I cant swim. Can you help me pass the river?”

The frog:” I am sorry. You said I am weak because I can not run fast, remember?”

The frog continue his way and left the rabbit near the river alone.

After few days the frog saw the rabbit again, but the rabbit was still sad. So the frog told him:” Do not worry you can win next time.”

The rabbit:” I am sad because i sad bad things about you being weak, but now I know that everyone is strong in his way.”

And the are still friends forever and ever.
