Pooh and Friends Day Out

One day in the 100 Acre Woods, Winnie the Pooh was sleeping in his bed. He woke up to the smell of fresh honey. Pooh jumped out of bed to find out where the honey was. Piglet knocked on the door and was holding a jar of honey. Pooh was very happy to see that his fried brought honey for him. So Pooh offered Piglet to come in and eat breakfast with him. Piglet followed behind Pooh and sat down at the table. Pooh said “Today I want to have a picnic. With all of our friends.” Piglet replied “Yes, we should do that.” Later on they Pooh and Piglet made plans to eat a picnic lunch in the fields. Pooh invited Eeyore, Tiger, Mr.Rabbit, Piglet, and Roo. They all planned to meet at his house and to bring their favorite food. Soon that morning everyone showed up with the food in their hands. There was, Apple Pie, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Milk & Water, Mac & Cheese, Chicken, and Honey, for Pooh. Everyone was so happy to spend the afternoon together. As soon as they arrived to the fields. Pooh quickly laid out the blanket and started to eat. Once everyone was done they got up and packed their stuff. They played for a while. With a ball and bat. They were enjoying their time in the sun and shade.

It started to become dusk. Pooh and all his friends were tired. So all of them said “Let’s go home and sleep.” All of them got up. When they just about to leave they heard a strange sound coming from the woods. “A-Roooo!” “It sounded like a ghost.” ,said Piglet. About almost everyone jumped in fear. Pooh was leaning towards the woods of where the sound came from. Then sound roared out louder. “A-ROOOOOOOOOOOO!” Now everyone screamed! They got scared and hid behind the trees. Mr.Rabbit said “Who are you?” No one replied back. Then Piglet ranted out saying “I am scared!” Eeyore was not as afraid as the others, but was afraid enough that he did not talk. Pooh came out of behind the tree and said “I will go and find out what it is.” So Pooh led the way and everyone else was behind him. Roo became nervous that the monster will come and get him. Everyone said the monster is not here anymore. They were relieved to hear that. But just about when they thought the monster was gone for good they heard the sound again. “A-Rooo!” Just not as loud as the other time. All of them hid behind the trees again. They hoped that the monster would not attack them.

Piglet then screamed out “Monsterrrrrrrrr!” Pooh and his friends turned around and say a huge thing with a trunk. Mr.Rabbit turned on his flashlight and saw that it was a animal. Pooh screamed out “Heffalump” and everyone stood in silence. They talked to each other by whispering. Mr.Rabbit said “Why did you scare us?!” Heffalump replied “I did not mean to scare you, I thought you could see me. I am sorry.” Pooh and Piglet said “It is okay. Sorry if we scared you.” The Heffalump said “No, no, no you did not scare me!” “It is just no one likes me.” Roo said “why?” Heffalump responded “Because I am big and creepy.” Roo replied back with a sweet voice “No you are not.” Heffalump was happy to hear that someone cared and liked him. Pooh and his friends offered Heffalump anything. Heffalump wanted some food so they got that for him.

Heffalump was sad to see that Pooh and his friends had to leave.
