Buy her a dog, she’ll want two more,

And a cat and a rat, and a semaphore.

Three ice creams cones? She’ll ask for four.

Sixteen candles? She’ll want more.

A tour at Rockefeller Tower?

She’ll want to stay an extra hour.

But when she went to Dr. Smot,

To get her vaccination shot

He took out a great big needle out,

Then Elinor began to shout.
