The Lost Puppies

A white dog lost her seven puppies in a forest so vast.

Danny wanted to run in and get them for her fast.

He found the first puppy hiding in a strawberry patch.

Around its mouth were red spots, all a match.

Since the small puppy was too tired to walk back,

Danny asked a good sheep to help him with the track.

The second puppy pulled carrots from the ground.

It was stubborn with orange spots all around.

The third puppy threw apples in the lake to chase.

It was naughty with green spots on its neck and face.

It had black spots along its body like a wave.

Danny asked a tall giraffe to help them with the track.

The seventh puppy shared a cauliflower with a turtle under the skies

It was all white, and seeing all its siblings was a happy surprise.

Danny asked an elephant to help them with the trek.

Danny returned to Mother dog all seven of her young.

She hugged her puppies and cleaned them with her tongue.
