All About Me By Sofia Yue Shen

Hello! I’m Sofia…

Hello!! I want to speak about me! I’m Sofia, I’m 12 years old and I am from Carpi, Italy. Nice to meet you!!!

At my home I have a lot of pet… I love animals!! Well, I have a hamster, a turtle and 5 goldfishes, but they haven’t a name (sorry, I will invent some names). Then I have a dog, she is a Labrador, her name is CocaCola (she is very very nice). I very LOVE my pets, they are very lovely.

In my bedroom I can see a bed, a lamp on my bedside table next to the bed, then a lot of peluche, a table for my things, there are: books of school, peluches, post-cards of my holidays and a lot of other. My bedroom is very small, but it’s good.  

In my family there are 5 people. My parents are very nice, I love them! My mother is 46 years old, her name is Giovanna (in Italian, but in Chinese is Jun Li); my father is 47 years old, his name is Gianni (in italian, but in Chinese is Hong Liang) and they are from China. I have 2 older brothers, Huang is 19 and Sheng is 17 years old.They are also from Italy, Huang have a job here,in Carpi, while Sheng and I go to school.

I am good at school, I like it, my classmates and my teachers! I go to a Middle School called Alberto Pio. My favourite subjects are Maths, English, German, Science and Technology, because they are very easy for me. But I hate Geography and History, I think they are very difficult and boring. I usually do my homework in the afternoon and in the evening I use my phone or my computer (I play a game or watch videos on YouTube). I sometimes meet my friend for a walk or for homework at the centre of Carpi.

“My Digital Gadgets And My Free Time”

Hello! Here I want to speak all about my free time and my digital gadgets. I have a mobile phone and it isn’t a Samsung it is an Iphone! I love my iPhone 5s,  it’s very very easy to use it! I use it very often because I receive and send a lot of messages. With my mobile phone I can download music, games, apps, do English homework, listen to music, watch and share videos, take, edit and share photos, send emails, surf the Net and a lot of other things. When I use it I prefer listening to music or chatting with my friends, surfing the Net or watching videos on YouTube. But I hate waiting when I download an app and edit a photo, I think it is very boring. I usually surf the Net very often: I do my English, German, Italian, Geography and History homework or watch videos.

On Social Networks I have a profile on Instagram but I don’t have a profile on Facebook because I think it is very dangerous.

In my free time I watch TV, use my mobile phone or play with my dog, Cocacola (it is her name). Last year, I swam once a week but now I don’t practice this sport, I think it isn’t exciting. I take my dog for a walk every evening, late after dinner. I really love using digital gadgets!

“My Eating Habits”

Hello! Now I want to speak all about my eating habits! I usually have a glass of milk and a lot of biscuits in my living room for breakfast. Later I have a sandwich at school from 10:50 to 11:05 for break. Then, at 1:15, for lunch I have some vegetables, meat and a bowl of rice. Finally for dinner I often have spaghetti with tomato sauce, it’s at 6:30.

I like candies, pizza, rice, spaghetti with tomato sauce and chips. But I don’t like carrots, spinach and peppers. My favourite drinks are orange juice, coke, fanta and lemon tea. I like junk food, but I don’t usually eat it, just sometimes.

Do you know? I can cook rice and some Chinese meals!!! Cooking rice is very easy, but cooking Chinese food is difficult, so my mum helps me

“My Christmas in Italy…”

Hi! Here I want to speak all about me at Christmas’ periods. I from Italy but my parents are from China and we don’t celebrate Christmas. In that period I don’t go to school then I go to bed and get up very late.
In my home there aren’t presents, a christmas tree, tinsels, a manger scene, christmas dinner, lights or decorations. Christmas, for me, is a daily routine as the other: in the morning I have breakfast and I read a book, in the afternoon I have a normal lunch and I do my homework, in the evening I have usual dinner, next I spend a lot of time using my cell phone or the computer and at night I go to bed late at about at 00:00.
But sometimes my family and I or my relatives go to the square of my town for a walk. There is a big Christmas tree, lights and a lot of decorations of Christmas.
