Starting over Again!

It had been a day that was cold and very sunny.  A day that made Grace feel warm inside but cold on the outside.

   It had been a few months after the divorce and Grace had been taken it so hard.   Her and her mom had moved to Iowa.  And she was dating someone other than her real father.   She could not stop thinking about it at her new school, she did not understand why her and her mom had to get a divorce!  

Then her teacher called on her, “What is the answer to 9×7?”   

Grace answered, “Why did they have to get a divorce!”  

Once Grace realized what she said she started to turn red hot, as a boy named Ryan started to laugh!   Then other people started to laugh.  Asher Boice made faces at her and started to say, “ What a weirdo”  

Grace said, ”W-w-well you’re dumb”  

“Grace stop and you to Asher”   Her teacher Mr. Pool gave her and Asher a note home.  She wanted to cry.  What a nice way to start the year.   

At reases She had a seat on the buddy bench and waited almost the  entire recess on the bench. Another girl from another class sat on the bench, they  started to talk Grace.
“Hi my name is Rilan O’Connor  what’s your name?”  

“My name is Grace.”

“What about you last name”

“Well I don’t yet because my mom hasn’t decided if she should keep it Foly or Coventree th-”  

“They got a divorce?”  Rylan whispered cutting her off.

“Ya”  Grace said in a normal voice “Why are you whispering!”

“well no you are doing it!”  

Then they started to laugh!  Then the whistle blew.  They planned to talk tomorrow!

“When Grace went home she thought ‘why is mom sitting with a man and why was Asher at her house!

Oh hi sweetie go change into your new drees we are going to linguini”

“What?  And why is Asher here?”

“Oh i thought you new i must not of told you that i was dating Asher’s dad”

Grace was was happy and upset at the same time because her mom new that she had trouble getting along with Asher.  But she was happy that her mom was starting over.  She got her dress on at they got in the car and they left to go to linguini

At the restaurant Grace got the same thing as Asher mashed potatoes with cheese on top.

“So Asher how is school do you like your teacher?” My mom asked

“It’ fine”  Asher said quickly

Near the middle of dinner the strangest thing happened Asher’s dad got on his knee and said

“Will you marry me?”  He whispered so the manager would not get mad!

“Well I don’t know what to say?”

“Yes!’’

Then grace butted in and whispered to her mom

“Wate Asher is-”

“Yes he is your boother?!”

At school the next day Asher went up to the teacher and whispered,

“ My dad proposed to Grace’s mom now we are step brother and sister”

“Please tell the class”

“Why?”

“Pleses”   

“Class i have some news,  Grace can you come up here please”

“Yes sr”  Grace said in almost a whisper voice.

“Now back to what I was saying Asher’s dad had asked Grace’s mom to marry him And she said Yes.  So now they are step brother and sister.”

A month later the day before the wedding.

At recess Grace and rillan meet and she told her how the wedding was tomorrow and that it was the 2 worst thing that had happened to her

“I just can’t believe that my mom is remarried 10 months after a divorce”

“Yay my mom didn’t remarry till-”

“Tweet tweet!”

“Oh man that’s the whistle need to go.”

The day after…

As Grace got ready for the wedding she was thinking to herself ´why´ ´why did they have to get married mom knows that we don’t get along?!´ then it was time that moment she was walking down the aisle putting flowers everywhere and she wanted to cry the feeling was a weird to actually have an experience as a 11 year old girl walking down the aisle and then Grace saw her, the beautiful dresses white as snow the the crown shining as bright as the sun,  she was so amazed by how her mom looked!

“Wow’’ Grace whispered under her breath.

Then Asher did something that she never thought he would!  He came and smiled at her!

Grace started to write in her notebook:

The after party was ok and i moved in with

Asher and his dad.  

The thing is Asher would keep testing me only when mom

And stepdad are not around. I just hate him.

At Least the way he acts but seriously

Mom guess Asher did at lunch

“What sweetheart”

¨so at lunch I could not bear to look at him he was sticking carrots up his nose it was disgusting but i had to sit across him¨

¨Honey that is just Asher¨

“Ok”

“Now you go and do something i need to talk to your father 0k”

“Yes mommy”

My mom and dad were talking and i was ez-dropping

Just don’t tell anyone but they are going but

I can’t what if they read this.

Ok i will.

They are going to leave me and Asher home alone on a vacation

Because they think it will help

Our relationship.  But there is a naber that will check

Up on us every hour and that they would leave tomorrow and they do have servants that no one can get in and it would set off an alarm.

Time for bed gotta go

At ten in the morning mom and dad left. And i told Asher what they were doing.

“Yay!! there gone are they”

“Yes why?”  

“Dad never lets me be home alone.  He is Rough’’

“Really i think he is kind’a nice”

“Well He is so rough he is my step dad because my mom was on her way to the doctors ovse and t-t-there w-was a truck and a-a flash of lights and i-ice and-”

“Sh sh it’s okay i understand it ok”

“What do you want to do”

“Trash the place!”

“Something other than that”

“Watch scary movies, Like vampire breath.”

“0k”

And they went to watch vampire breath

The next morning the house was trashed!!??  

“Asher i said not to trash the house!”

“B-but i didn’t.  I really didn’t.”

“Ok but how could this happen”  

“Look raccoons those pesky little animals i can’t believe them and how did they get in the house look the window is open”

“That how they proble got in.  But the big problem is that how will we clean it up in time till mom and dad get home?!”

Well at least it not upstairs so all go this way and you go that way”

As they went to clean Grace worndered

“ASHER! HOW WILL WE GET THE RATCONNES OUT OF THE HOSE!”

“I GOT IT COME HERE.”

“So what is your plan?”

‘We lore them out of the hose with food”  “That should be our top poradie”

As they went to get food grace just grabbed velvet cookies

“Serictly they eat garbage or blueberries.  Go and hurry they will be back in an hour.”  

As grace went to get the garbage and she was so disgusted by how gross it was.  In it there was spit up from when asher had been sick and there was old banana peels plus what asher spilled all over me to keep me out of his room

“What is taking you so long. Its an hour till they get home.  Let’s go move.”

Soon the raccoons had secured out of there house.  It was such a relief that they were gone because mom and dad would be so furious and at us.

“Asher! It had been almost 30 minutes get toses rats out of the house w-”

“GO!GO! Move!”

As they went to clean they had to use teamwork and help each other, finally when there parent got they were done and the house was cleaner than wean they left.

“What happened to the house?!” mom asked surprised

“Nothing!” they both said at the same time.  And went to go sit under the prodigious tree.

From now on we use team work

And we still get in

Fights but that is normally

For us at least?
