The Diary Of Jane

Hey, my name is Jane.

A few years ago, when I was 17, I lived with my parents and siblings at a small house in Dallas Texas. I went to Skyline High School and had a sweet and loving boyfriend named Julian. Julian and I were very close and I loved him very much, I was willing to give everything for him, including my virginity. 

a few weeks after we slept together I found out that I was pregnant. I was very nervous. I didn’t know what to do.

But first I knew I have to tell my mom. So I did, she was very understanding and we went to tell my father together about the pregnancy. That’s the part that I was afraid of.

As a little girl I grew up in a christian home and my parents always taught me that I need to save myself until I get married. Since that wasn’t the case, I was scared. My dad was angry but he said what’s done is done and now we have to think what are we going to do with this baby –

Do I keep the baby and raise him, or do I give him up and have an abortion.

But before I decide anything I talked to Julian and told him what’s going on. He took it better than I thought he would – he was supportive, and promised that no matter what I decide he will be there. 

After talking with Julian I decided that I’m gonna keep the baby.

The baby was born October 2^nd. A healthy little boy. We called him Daniel. 

thanks to Daniel, me and Julian stayed together and got married. I’m so happy I kept my baby, I got to see him grow up into this beautiful and smart little boy

I don’t know what would have happened if I had given up my baby. But I do know that I would never be as happy as I am now.
