Rotem Omri, Maria and Me – The Story of how Ourboox Came to be

This is the story of Rotem Omri,

Maria and Me,

And how our stories came to be.

It all started long ago,

I was invited to read a story

For kindergarten children

At Montessori,

I had to go,

How could I say no?

This is Maria Montessori,

The lady who invented Montessori,

And the beginning of my story.

Rotem Omri

Came up to me

And said,

“Can I illustrate your story

I also teach at Montesorry.”

Our meeting was a success,

I said Yes!

And before you could say “Come take a look”

Rotem had illustrated one whole book.

And more and more

She drew and drew,

Another one

And then a few.

When she was done

I took a look

They were beautiful,

Each and every book

We wanted them to be for free,

And that is how Ourboox came to be.

With Ourboox, everyone

Anyone at all,

Large or small,

Can write a book

And invite the world to take a look!!
