I wrote this book to assist you in teaching your third grade friends with learning about adjectives, verbs, and nouns! My goal was to make it super simple and fun to learn these parts of speech. For your visual learners, I even added a video at the end. Your students will get to meet the Amazing Vibrating Newt. The Newt brakes down these words and explains them in a fun way. The learning objectives I have created for this book are:

Student will be able to say and name the words Adjective, noun, and verb.

Student will be able to give an example of at LEAST one of these words.

Adjective

Adjectives are used as describing words.

Vanessa is Tall, Athletic, Smart and Pretty.

Verb

A verb can be used to describe an action.

This boy likes to run. The word RUN is the verb.

Noun

      Nouns can be used to describe people,

               Places

           and even things!

We use nouns, verbs, and adjectives all of the time! We use all of these when talking about our family, school, our pets and so much more.
