Wolf the wolf
woke up early one morning
and went for a walk
to pick forest berries
but he didn’t find a single one!
“I know what to do”
He thought to himself.
“I will ask Sam the fox
He knows everything about everything.
I’ll ask him.
He’ll know”.
Sam the fox lived in a cave by the lake
He loves to go to the sea
But he is afraid of walking through the forest.
He is afraid that Moses the hunter might catch him.
When Wolf the wolf knocked on the door of Sam the fox
He didn’t want to answer at all.
“I’m not at home”
he yelled
“Come back tomorrow,
maybe I’ll be home by then.”
“I know you’re here”
said Wolf the Wolf,
“Come and help me pick forrest berries,
That’s what friends are for.”
They didn’t find a single berry in the forest,
But they did find Moses the hunter.
Sam the fox was afraid of Moses the hunter
But the hunter was even more afraid of Wolf the Wolf.
“Don’t bite me” Moses asked.
“What do you have in your pockets?” asked Wolf the Wolf.
Moses the hunter put his hands in his pockets.
He fished out a bunch of forest berries
Which he had collected.
There they sat, Wolf, Sam and Moses
Eating all the forest berries.
They were all very happy
And weren’t afraid of one another.
To this day they look for forest berries together
And always remember to share.

This project with the children was so exciting and so much fun. And the kids did such a creative job in writing and illustration. I’m reborn!!
