The mysterious box III

“That’s it” Vivian thought to herself, I did it.

At the first look she take into the attic she found a long hall, emptied furniture, a few boxes on the side, some trash, a lot of dust and the same smell she smelled before now got stronger.

It look like nobody was there for the last Twenty years, this was so strange, the house itself was very new and equipped and it was really strange nobody handle the attic before.

She started to walk slowly into the hall and stopped after a few steps on the first box she saw on the left side.

The upper side was fully dusty, while Vivian cleaned the dust she started to cough up and she felt really bad. She decided to open the box and then to go down to breath clean air.

Vivian opened the box cautiously, with her flashlight on she aim into the box and then she started to see what’s inside.

At the top, covered all the inside there was a blanket, it was a little boy blanket. The blanket was Blue, covered all over with strange black circles, it look cute and weird at the same time. She took out the blanket and aim the light on it, she saw a brand new blanket, actually it looked newer then it looked in the store. The blanket was covered with nylon bag in order to keep her clean and it felt like someone bought it from the store and put it immediately in the nylon cover.

“Maybe it was important to someone, a lost child or a just a memory” Vivian thought to herself. She felt a little more calm after she saw the blanket, after all the way she did into the attic she expected to found there a dead body or something, now Vivian felt better to open the rest of the box.

Inside the box was a Teddy bear, a very old wood bottle and a small black box made from iron, with lock.

All the stuff that was inside the box, was in the same condition as the blanket, covered with nylon and looks new in a very weird way. How could a wood bottle that looked like it was from the 60’s could be in this amazing condition?

Vivian decided to tear the black box nylon and try to open it.

At the second she tore the nylon her flashlight went off, she felt like all the strange smell she smelled all the time at the attic came from the black box. Vivian felt dizzy from the smell and the dust, she felt like she was going to passed out, in her last strength she tried to open the black box with no success but she felt something at the bottom, she turned he box and she saw the letter “H” and a number – 41.

Vivian threw all the stuff inside the big box, closed it and run outside, she felt she needed a fresh air immediately.

After she went down she felt really strange, somehow all the situation made her to not realize what exactly happened there.

The smell of fresh air make her feel better, she went into the Kitchen to finish the unpacking, and then it happened.

At the first time since she went up to the attic, now she knew something strange indeed happened there.

While she passed the hall where the attic door was there Vivian saw there was no door and no attic.

Vivian rubbed her eyes and still couldn’t believe, while she was standing there, Harry came back from work and she heard him calling “Honey I’m home!”, Vivian knew she will thought about it later so she took herself in her hands and said back to Harry “I’m coming”.

Harry makes her feel better, “I’m lucky” Vivian thought to herself.
