On January 4, 2002, the Jordan couple filed for divorce, but a short time later they completed and canceled the request.

1:When Michael Jordan was a kid, he idolized Magic Johnson. Jordan even called himself Magic Jordan. His first car, which was a 1976 Grand Prix, was given the nickname Magic Jordan as the license plate.

2: As a child, Michael Jordan watched his friend get sucked into an ocean surf and drown. Michael himself almost drowned at baseball camp. These events led him to a phobia of water. Jordan is uncomfortable around oceans, seas and other huge bodies of water.
