Hello Hello,
This is my third book in which I talk about “Hilula”.

if you want to get more background I invite you to read the first two books and then read this book 🙂

So “hilula” is still alive and kicking yes yes.
These days, since Purim, I decided to invest everything in the development and promotion of the business and I am working hard!
I develop new products, invest in advertising, we did a photo shoot as I told in the second book and….
Today I would love to tell you about the booth I opened in Salina Beach!

how it started?
Two weeks ago I received a message from someone who manages the “fithood” branches in Tel Aviv.
She said that they are opening a new branch in Salina beach and that they would be very happy for me to come to the launch to open a stand with cases for yoga mats and with items that I sew.

First of all, I was very excited to receive such a message, and I completely decided to go for it.
A few points that came to mind:
1. I haven’t sewn yoga mat cases for a long time, will I be able to sew and make enough for the stand?
2. Opening a stand requires a financial investment that will not necessarily return to me.
3. Will people buy? will it work
4. Do I have enough time to set up a good enough booth?

So I think that, as I know myself, I knew that setting a date when I would set up a booth would definitely trigger positive things for me.
Questions and answers to myself:
1. I haven’t sewn yoga mat cases for a long time, will I be able to sew and make enough for the stand?

Yes! Putting a date will totally push me to sew cases in sufficient quantity.
As soon as I knew there was a goal to reach I knew I would have to make a neat cut for yoga mat bags. A cut that will be relatively easy to sew and will look good enough.
The very development of the cut is very important for me so that I can sew and sell sack bags in general in my business.

2. Opening a stand requires a financial investment that will not necessarily return to me.
3. Will people buy? will it work
Right. It’s totally a risk that you take every time you open a stand.
However, it should be understood that what I will get from opening a stall is not necessarily expressed in money nor immediately. Opening a stand brings exposure, connection to the clientele and creates activity for the business – all these are very positive and developing things! And I’m sure they will happen even if they buy/don’t buy at the booth.

4. Do I have enough time to set up a good enough booth?
Yes!!
One of the things I learned is that progress is better and more valuable than perfection. Because perfection does not exist.
Perfectionism should not have much place in business management because it only hinders.
Yes, two weeks is enough time to set up a satisfactory, beautiful stand that looks good with a nice amount of products 🙂

I went for it!
Already proud of myself for making the decision.
The first thing I did was tell my Instagram followers about the booth coming up. I try very hard to share with them everything related to the business – I think it promotes and shows that there is a lot to do!

Time passed, I postponed the preparations for the booth, which caused everything to be left for the 90th minute!!
Well this is me. The truth is that I wasn’t excited and I wasn’t surprised and I knew that you are a serious and real Posh when I have no choice and it will be a few days 🙂
The knowledge that I have a booth and I have to produce such a large quantity made me fix things I wanted on my 2 sewing machines, rearrange my rooms for work and start dreaming and planning in my head what things I would like to sew.
I felt that this decision was really good for me, even before it happened!!

The deadline made me do things I hadn’t done until now!

44-48 hours before the booth
I realized that I have to reset urgently! I have no products! I have no figure! And it’s just really going to happen in two days.
I took a deep breath and told myself everything was fine. I even talked to a friend who told me Hila – no one knows what you have planned – so whatever happens it will be amazing!
I got up that morning and started sewing simply as I remember the first case, it turned out terrible! It took me an hour and a half! Wow stressful. I realized that this is for the best and I need to find a new cut.
I looked a bit at my sewing videos from the past, and started to create a new cut for a new case.
From case to case I improved – I understood what the right size is, how to work with the fabrics, which fabrics are better to work with.
Wow, do you realize how many lessons I received even before the booth itself arrived?

42 hours before the booth
There are some examples! it looks good! I feel that I must photograph these cases because if they are sold I will not have the opportunity to photograph them and upload them to my Instagram page and in the future to the website.
I arrange with friends at 19 for sunset from the moment to relax, get on a scooter and meet them!!
We have fifteen minutes to take some pictures and that’s exactly what’s happening 🙂

34 hours before the booth
It was 12 at night.
I have a good figure, some bags but I don’t have enough!
Which made me sit and sew and sew and sew like that until 3:30 in the morning!
Something I would never do if I didn’t have a deadline 🙂

The day before!
That day I could start working on things only from noon!
At 13:30 I arrived at fabric stores to buy loads of fabric that I want to sew cases and things from, I went through 4 different stores and arrived home ready for the very long day ahead.
In my favor it turned out that my family and I did not have Friday dinner and I went to work.
I sewed a lot, the new fabrics inspired me..
I also sewed new cases that I hadn’t sewn before and I started to feel good about the stand.
The piece inspired me to make videos, so I filmed a video for my new TikTok page and I was very happy!
These days were full of creativity, inspiration, and lots of energy!
I felt that no matter what will be in the stand itself I am already satisfied and I have already received my gifts from this thing :))

Booth Day!!

Saturday morning. I woke up exhausted! After 5 hours of sleep and exhausting days!
I take a deep breath and say to myself Hila – it will be good!
It’s your time to bring the things you made and release control, you’ve done your best so far 🙂
It made me feel relieved and really put a smile on my face that just really everything is fine. What will be will be!

I went to Selena Beach at 9:30 in the morning, and unloaded all the equipment and things I had prepared 🙂
It was exciting for me, to come as a business owner, with the new things and meet new people!

Coaches and trainees, friends and people I didn’t know came to the stand!
I felt like I was in positive energy.
The stand spread over 3 tables and included cases for yoga mats, pencil cases and festival clothes 🙂
I met new people! I got exposure, I created content for my Instagram page!
I met girls who came from the publications I created!
I listened to people and heard what they are looking for and really what products can I make that will sell!
I met a sportswear business owner and a photographer who both suggested that we do a collaboration together!
I met a guy who ordered 7 kimonos from me for the coming week!
The sales at the stand were really not great. But the profit that came out of it is huge!
How good and happy.
And thank you for being here to hear my experience!
