All My Sons Post Reading – Ofek Migdal

Dear diary,

Today I came back from the war. At last, the long long war is over and I can finally return back to my home.
Although the war is over, I feel ashamed to be alive. All of my friends and squad members are dead and I am the only one left alive. I can now leisurely live with money earned from the war, relax with my family and work together with my father in his factory, while they will never get to do all of these things. I feel like I should have also died there. My time there will never disappear from my mind. The things that happened there. I will never forget how we all bonded there and all the moments we shared together. I will never forget how tough some nights were, and all of the experience I got from it.
I may feel bad to be alive, but because I am, I have to make use of this time. I cannot wait to catch up with everyone and eat my mother’s food.
