Hecate: The goddess of witchcraft

She was a worshiped deity, first depicted as single bodies but then deciphered as three bodies, holding torches. She was referred to as standing in doorways and crossroads hence being three bodies standing side by side she could watch over all the paths to ward off evil spirits.She also observed the abduction of Demeter’s daughter Persephone, Hecate help a torch aiding in the search for her.

Persephone: Goddess of Spring and Queen of the Underworld

She is the daughter of Demeter. One day she was taken by Hades to the underworld.Demeter searched for her daughter and neglected her godly duties, causing drought on earth as she is the goddess of agriculture. Persephone made an agreement with hades and spent two thirds of the year in the living word along side her mother and the remainder of the year in the underworld. As Demeter mourned in her daughters absence the living word became dark and cold. Hence, causing the chamges of the season we call Winter.

Hades: God of the Dead and King of the Underworld

He is the ruler of the underworld, the place before mortals go to their final resting place. Hades along side his brothers Zeus and Poseidon defeated their father and the other titans and became the new ruler of the cosmos.
