Athens

There are many reasons why I think Athens is the best place to visit.

First, to a boy like me who loves history and mythology I can say that this city provides it. Across the city there are many statues of gods, the Parthenon, and the Acropolis that you can visit, have fun and maybe learn a thing or two about the Greek mythology.

Another reason is that you can go visit the place where the first modern Olympics was held (in 1896). You can run at the course a few laps and stand on the Olympics podium.

Furthermore, you can go and visit the highest place at Athens – Mount Lycabettus. You can climb with your family a challenging mountain and after a long walk, you have a full view of the city which it is beautiful and worth the climbing.

Finally, the people in Athens are very nice and loving and the prices in the shops are very low and affordable.

These are just a few reasons why I think Athens is the best place to visit.
