The story of the Little Prince and the polecat
by Daria, Jules, Kylian, Paul & Yann
Everything started on a boat, far away from the coast, on sweet and calm water. I was fishing alone when suddenly the sheep which were floating in the sky became black and rain started to fall. There were huge waves which were shaking the boat – I was in a enormous storm. I tried my best but eventually the boat capsized and I fainted.
I woke up lying down in the sand with a little prince in front of me.
“Draw me a polecat,” he said
“What? Why? Where am I?” I asked him
“Please, draw me a polecat”
As he kept insisting, I decided to take my artbook from my pocket and I started to draw.
“So, are you going to tell me where we are?” I continued, while drawing.
“This is my island, I have to stay here to take care of the baobabs so they don’t get too big.”
I was quite shocked, how was it possible for a kid to be alone in this desert?
“Is that my polecat?”
In fact, it was awful, but, against all odds, he found it amazing.
“I love it! My rose would have been very happy to be friends with…..”
“Your rose?” I interrupted
“Yes, I had one a few months ago. I’m glad to have spent time with her but a wicked frog called Philipine kidnapped her and I cannot rescue her…”
“I get it, you have to tend to the baobabs?”
“Yes, I must”
“Perhaps I could do it for you?”
“You would?!”
“Well, I AM stuck here in any case, do you know where she is?”
“No, but my polecat will help me. Thank you very much” she added, walking away and leaving me alone in the desert.
I finally succeeded in finding the little prince’s home with all the baobabs and took care of the whole island for a long time.
However, after years of solitude, I finally saw two little shadows coming my way. As they were getting closer, I was able to distinguish a little crown. Furthermore, I saw the person was holding a rose in his hand. I welcomed them back, and listened to their story.
“Wow, so you managed to travel across several seas with your polecat in order to rescue your rose by killing the Big Bad Frog Philipine and now you are back! Let’s celebrate!”

Little Red Riding Hood
by Clemence & Nadine
Once upon a time, there was a little girl who was known by all the villagers. She always wore a red hood so everybody called her the Little Red Riding Hood. One day, her mum sent the her to her grandma’s house because she was very sick and gave the girl some food to give to her grandma. The mother warned Little Red Riding Hood not to get lost in the forest and not to waste any time. The little girl grabbed the pie and left. On her way, she met a wolf. He was tall and mysterious. He asked her where she was going.
“I am going to my grandma’s house. She is very sick so I am bringing her this pie,” she answered
Then, the wolf asked her where she lived.
“Near the woods, next to the river,” she replied in total innocence.
The wolf told her that she should pick some flowers before arriving, because it would make her gran so happy. Little Red Riding Hood hesitated and finally accepted. While she was collecting the flowers, the wolf ran to the grandma’s house. When he arrived there, he pretended to be the little girl. The grandma opened the door and the wolf ate her entirely. Then, he put on the grandma’s clothes and climbed into her bed, waiting for Red. Meanwhile, the girl realised that she had spent too many hours in the forest and ran to her grandma’s house. When she arrived, she knocked on the door.
The Big Bad Wolf took his softest voice and answered,
“Enter, my dear.”
She came close to the bed and said “Oh grandma, what big ears you have!”
“The better to hear you with, my child.”
“But grandma, what big eyes you have!”
“The better to see you with,” he replied.
And then, the little girl added “Oh, but grandma, what a terribly big mouth you have!”
“The better to eat you with!”
Scarcely had the wolf said this, than he jumped out of bed and swallowed Little Red Riding Hood. After that, the Big Bad Wolf decided to take a rest before running away.
A few days passed and the mother started to get worried. She decided to ask the villagers if anyone had seen her. One of them told her that they had seen her talking to the Big Bad Wolf. The second she heard this, she became enraged and gathered all the villagers to hunt the beast down. They took axes, pitchforks and torches and started looking for him.
Many days went by, and every day was harder. They went into the big forest, knocked on every door but still couldn’t find him. After searching the whole village, they went across the country and finally found the Big Bad Wolf at the frontier. He was trying to forge some identity papers to flee and start a new life. The villagers surrounded him and at that moment he knew there was no escape. A woman walked out from the crowd and stood just in front of him. Her face looked familiar. He realised who she was and turned white as a sheet.
She began punching him in the face and yelling at him. She was so violent that the others had to hold her back. They all came back to the village and incarcerated the wolf. Meanwhile, the men built a pyre. They brought wood, straw and set it all up. When everything was ready, the villagers took the wolf to the place.
He started to cry, apologised and said that he didn’t mean to eat them both. But the mother didn’t want to listen to a single word from his mouth. After that, they attached him to the trunk. He struggled in vain. The mother took a match and threw it into the straw. Instantly, the whole pyre was on fire and all the villagers were screaming and clapping their hands, thrilled. A few minutes later, everything was just dust and everyone left except for the mother who wanted to stay behind a little more. Actually, she spent many hours there, until someone finally took her back home.

The wolves and the reactor dragon-pig
by Elias, Gustave & Geremy
Once upon a time, there were three little wolves. They lived all together in a house. The gutter of their house was broken. A big, yet friendly dragon-pig was next to them and offered to fix it for them. The dragon-pig welded it, however he unfortunately burnt the whole house because it was made of straw.
The wolves thought that is was a disguised attack and that the pig was evil. Yet, the poor dragon-pig was sorry for them and really wanted to apologise. The wolves lived on an island so they needed to use a hot air balloon.
Consequently, the dragon-pig disguised himself in a hot air balloon reactor in order to make up for his mistake to the wolves. He was so friendly that he spat fire to make the hot air ballon fly.
Everything was fine until the dragon-pig sneezed and burnt the whole hot air balloon. The three wolves drowned and the dragon-pig flew away crying because he had killed his only friends.

Little Red Riding Hood ?
by Hugo, Victor, Erwan B.
Once upon a time, in a forest, a pack of wolves disappeared one by one.
In this same forest there was a wolf with no teeth.
The wolf’s grandmother decided to buy dentures for him.
On the road, the grandmother met a little girl.
The grandmother was not afraid and came closer to ask the child why she was there…
A few hours later, the wolf wondered why his grandmother had not come home and decided to look for her in the forest.
But even after looking for his grandma a long time, he still couldn’t find her.
Suddenly, he heard a sound behind his back, as if there were someone coming closer to him. He slowly turned around to find…
A little girl who was timidly hiding behind a red coat
Then she said:
“Hello mister wolf, do you know where we are, I am lost, and I do not know my way back home.”
She seemed to be genuinely sad and was almost crying.
The wolf didn’t know what to do so he took her on his back and said:
“I do not know where your house is, but I can transport you to the fringe of the forest”
The little girl nodded and they began walking towards the fringe of the forest.
The wolf decided to find out more about the girl and they began talking about themselves. Then, the wolf asked some question such as:
“Have you seen my grandmother?” and she answered
“I think…, you know I encounter many wolves in the woods”
Or
“Do you often go into the woods?”
and she replied
“From time to time…”
Once at the fringe of the forest he asked,
“What are you hiding in your coat?”
and she answered , with a big, happy smile
“Your demise!”
We have never seen the wolf again since.
Conclusion: Do not believe strangers in the woods
