The Wonder Of The Night

CHEPTER 1- about me

Hi, my name is August, but everyone calls me Auggie. And I am not an ordinary kid.

I mean, I do ordinary things, I eat chocolate cake, I play basketball and I watch movies.

My story began last week, when I heard my parents talking about sending me to a normal school.

Until now, I homeschooled with my mom because of a secret I haven’t told you yet. Let’s say that if I had one wish, I asked to be like everyone else, to be normal.

So yes, I have a secret, Like all of us, no? But my secret is bigger than you can imagine, a secret that I haven’t told anyone except my very Limited family. A secret I even can’t believe to myself that I am telling to you.

When the sun sets, I become something else, something I generate that you haven’t seen in your life!!

My face is changing to look like I’m Damaged. My body has become so weird! Like I’m a half dracula or something.

Oh wait I got discredited, let’s go back to last week.

After I heard them talking I ran down the stairs, I don’t want to scare you but I screamed, I screamed like I never screamed before on anyone in my life. After a little while (maybe a lot) I come down because my parents explain to me what I am really going to do there.

CHRPTER 2- first day of school

The big day has come! I am going to a normal school. When I got to class I saw a group of friends. I immediately started to worry but a girl suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me to them, so I could join the conversation.

And I could add that she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.

The lesson started. To be honest It was kind of boring, but the teacher was nice.

Before I notice, the break starts. It was very fun. I went to summer friends (that is the name of the pretty girl) and I actually talked to them!

Then, they asked me if I want to meet with them at 20:00, which means that the sun is going to set by then. I got panicked and I told them that my little sister Olivia is having a birthday party.

The day was over, actually, it was really fun.

I went to sleep and suddenly I heard noises from outside and then, someone knocked on the door and said: “Auggie we are here to help with your sister party”. so I went down to open it.

I was so tired that I forgot that the sun set!

CHEPTER 3- happy ever after(?)

But it was too late.

I opened the door and Summer said: “Auggie? Is that you?” I got really nervous and I ran inside.

Summer ran after me and said: “it’s ok that you are different, that what makes us beautiful”. And then I said: “really? Is that what you think about me?” She said: “yes! I think you are even more beautiful like this, because this is the real you!” Everyone joined and agreed with her and it was so exciting.

I was so happy that I could not stop smiling, I felt so relieved.

In the morning I went back to school.

I came to Summer and I did something I would never think I would do, I came to her and I asked her: “Summer would you want to be my girlfriend?” And she said: “yes!”

And they lived happily ever after.
