Donovan was Here, Finally

Donovan came.

We saw.

He conquered.

With peace, love, and great songs.

He sang our favorite songs. He told stories. He was time standing still.

Some of my sixties students showed up. I was delighted.

And a lot of perennial flower children.

Donovan played his green guitar.

He shone.

He sang colors. He was colorful.

And managed to spend a minute with a big fan. I’m not sure he remembered me from way back when.

But he was nice and kind and signed…
