1930’s society Book

This decade was clearly influenced by the economic crisis (called the “Great Depression”) caused by the Crash of ’29, which had a worldwide scope and provoked strong social and political tensions.

it all started since the 1920’s were the roaring twenties which changed the whole world not only the United States but it was the era of the creation of many new inventions for the benefit of the whole world such as: the television, the toaster, the washing machine, etc…

the problem was that everything that goes up needs to go down so in an instant everything went down and all in a sudden crash, that why it is called the crash of 29 because a lot of familys lost their jobs and their money so they where most of them in a bankruptcy and it was very hard to live since you didn’t had anything so those where really hard times for almoast all the country.

Everything was going very well. I had a lot of money. All the markets were in more than excellent numbers. Everyone was winning in the market and society was improving more and more as a whole, until today when I lost everything. It is impressive how quickly happiness disappeared and that everything ended and we all lost our money from one moment to another.

I was eating very happily with my friends at work and we were talking about soccer and having a few beers until they told us that everything had been lost at first I didn’t believe it but then I went to check my bank and I saw a lot of people outside who knew he had gone to the red one, just like me from one moment to the next, it was a very sad place everyone had very depressed faces and everyone was crying about what happened, we had no choice but to accept it and deal with it we had all lost our jobs and money, and it was time to look for a new one to be able to continue surviving I did everything to get a job I searched and searched but there was no one offering work I made posters, demonstrations, I did everything to be able to return to my normal life but apparently not enough.

I had to start selling my properties but it didn’t sell. Everything was a disaster, nothing was going well for anyone, it was as if money stopped falling from the sky.

Today september/22/1948 I woke up in my ranch with my brave and wonderful husband, we talk for a whle and the he needed to go get dress to go to work with the “boys”, After he left, i went to the bathroom to get ready and put my make up on.

After sometime I realized that it wasn’t the same again with Currley and that I am bored because everyday is the same, in fact he doesn’t pay more atention to me, and unless we talk or if he doesn’t takes me out of here on saturday, i actually think that we might finish this. Doing nothing in the house made me feel isolated and loneley.

Lunch time arrived and Currley wasn’t there so I needed to eat alone, I was mad beacuse he promised me he would come and i am super stres since I can’t get out of here.

The time passed and he didn’t arrive, not even for dinner, so i needed to go out and search for him, I put on my dress just in case I saw someone handsome because I was mad at Curlley. Then i went walking where the workers usually are and I didn’t see anyone. I decided to go to the bunk house and I didn’t saw anyone.I got the idea of going to the stable where I rememberd Currley told me the black gay lived there, i was bored as a rock and I said to myself, well at least if currley is not there I could go get in someone else hair, I was getting closer and closer and I saw that the lights where on and there where some noices in the stable and I was standing in the door to see if I could hear what where they talking about, and they where saying somethings of a ranch they have and my first thought was “oh, jaja they are big mouth persons”  I opend the door roughly since I was angry and frustrated for not seeing Currley all day, I saw 3 man 1 black and 2 whites, there was minute of silence and then I laugh and said ” they left all the weakones here” laughing, after I asked them if they’ve seen Currley and…
