Proverb

Her gecenin bir gündüzü vardır.(Turkish)

Every night has a morning.(English)

Meaning

Every nigt has a morning means In life, nothing stays as it is. In this flow, positive
and negative events occur and anyone who is
unsuccessful or who encounters difficulties should not be upset; should know that his condition is not permanent and always must be hopeful to happiness.

7

Usage

We use this proverb  for hopeless situations. It gives us hope about everything can change. So we can say that it is actually a motivation proverb. When you’re feeling low or when you think everything ended, nothing can change your life anymore. But the thing is, every ending has a new beginning. In the end, the sun has a sinking spell every night, but it comes back up every morning.

PROVERB:

In Arabic : عصفور في اليد ولا عشرة على الشجرة .

In English : A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

MEANING:

A bird in hand is worth ten in the bush, this proverb is about risk or greed it. It is better to keep what you have than to risk losing it by trying to get something better. This proverb implies that something that one already has is better than chasing something that seems more valuable. One day there was a man walking in the forest and holding a bird in his hand while he was walking  he saw a large number of birds on one of the trees,  he greed to take birds and hurried to get them, But he couldn’t get it because the birds flew away. So we must be content with what we have instead of going after other things that appear valuable to not lose what we have.

PROVERB:

In Arabic : . الي استحوا ماتوا

In English : They who got shy , died( No shyness at all !).

MEANING:

The ancient Turkish baths used firewood, wood, and sawdust to heat the bath floor and heat the water to pass steam from the cracks.

The domes and skylights of most of the bathrooms were made of wood, and a fire broke out in a women’s bathroom, and since the bathroom is for women, many of them used to shower naked, only covered by thick steam.

It happened. It happened in the fire. Every woman was clothed (wearing her clothes). As for the naked women, they stayed out of fear and shyness, and preferred death to going out.

When the owner of the bathroom returned, Hala saw and asked the doorman, “Has any of the women died?”

The gatekeeper replied, “Yes.” He said to him, “Who died?” The doorman replied: Those who were ashamed are dead.
