     Who do you think the most decorated NBA player was? Michael Jordan, that’s who! I am going to tell you about the life of Michael Jordan(MJ). We will explore MJ’s childhood, MJ’s career highlights, and MJ’s life now. Get ready for some very good information. Lets start with Michael’s childhood.

Michael Jordan’s Childhood

     Do you know where Michael Jordan was born? I do! Michael Jefferey Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York on February, 17, 1963.  Shortly after MJ’s birth he and his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. His mom’s name is Deloris Peoples and his Dad’s name is James R. Jordan, Sr. He has four brothers and he is 52 years old. Let’s talk about the amazing highlights of Michael Jordan’s career.

Highlights of Michael Jordan’s Career

     Michael Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls and led them to six NBA championships. He won Rookie of the Year and won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award five times.  Michael won all star MVP three times. Michael Jordan also won three dunk contests. MJ was on the U.S. Olympic Basketball team in 1984. Michael Jordan enrolled in college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jordan led North Carolina to a National Championship and MJ won the college basketball player of the year award twice in 1983 and 1984.       Next we will talk about MJ’s life now. In 2006 MJ bought the team now known as the Charlotte Hornets. MJ was introduced into the Naismith Basketball Hall Of Fame in 2009. MJ also serves as the chairman of the Charlotte Hornets. Michael and his wife Juanita Vanoy got divorced in December 2006. He has three kids and their names are Jeffrey Jordan, Marcus Jordan, and Jasmine Jordan. On April 27, 2013 Michael Jordan got remarried to 35 year old Cuban model Yvette Prieto and had their first child in April 2014.

MJ has always been an interesting player to me. In this report we talked about MJ’s childhood, the highlights of MJ’s career, and MJ’s life now. MJ had over four nicknames but I like MJ the most.
