Lady Dimitrescu

It’s one of my first nights in our new house. I don’t really like it here, because I have no friends and the house is old and kind of ugly. I don’t like the old smell. Our neighbourhood is not the worst, because there are lots of kids my age, but there’s that one kid, that act’s weird. One time when my parents and I came for the first time to this place the kid watched every step we took. He looked very angry and I felt not really welcomed. He has dark brown hair and is younger than I am. His clothes were a bit dirty, maybe from playing in the woods. I told my parents that he is weird and is always watching us, but they don’t want to hear anything like that. So now I sit in my stupid room and miss my friends and my old life. I was happy at my old home. Everything was good but my dad got a new job so we needed to move to this place.

It’s in the middle of the night and I can’t sleep. Through the window in my room I can see the house of this little boy. It looks like a normal house but I don’t really want to get near it, it’s weird. I can look a bit in his house through his window, but it’s too dark to see something, when suddenly a light turns on in his house. I don’t know why but I’m getting scared to see something I shouldn’t see, though I’m staring into his window. It was his mom sitting in the kitchen, she just sits there and stares at the walls. I started to feel uncomfortable, maybe the whole family is just psycho. Suddenly she started to cry and took a knife. She turned her head directly to me. I ran away from my window and sat on my bed.

Whenever I looked there, I received threats that I would lose my life.They were quite strange. One day I decided to learn more about them. I asked the neighbors, but when I mentioned their house, they all closed their doors. I noticed that they were walking the streets at night.One day I went to their house to find out more about them.I approached their window, and the view was horrifying.The boy‘s mother was staring at one of the kitchen walls.She started talking to the wall.The next moment she took a knife and stabbed it into the wall.Screaming:“SheIt‘s your fault for everything! She turned and saw me, and slowly approached me, holding the knife, and said: „You are next“! I ran away quickly….

I went home, locked the door and told my parents about what had just happened. My dad was a very impulsive man and he wanted to grab the sawed-off shotgun he kept above the fireplace and do some very bad things to her. But my mum thought this was an unnecessarily aggressive approach to the situation, and told him not to do it. He calmed down and called the police.

When he told them about the woman’s behavior, they immediately knew who the woman was. Her name was Alcina Dimitrescu. She had infamously murdered her husband and her only son over 20 years ago. Since then, the police had been looking for her after she had gone into hiding. Within 10 minutes we saw armored vehicles and helicopters entering the neighborhood. They broke into the house and neutralized the psycho woman.

After that, they evacuated the entire neighborhood and called an airstrike on the area. We ended up moving back to our old house. I thought that was the end of the story but it hasn’t been the same after the accident. I have been hearing weird sounds. And today, when I was going to bed I saw a note on my pillow reading:

“Roses are red, silent as a mouse, I am not dead, I’m inside your house”.
