Scene 1

Storyteller: Once upon a time there lived two brothers – Good Yedyeen, who liked to hunt and his little brother Bad Kholdjugur.

One day,  after a night’s sleep, he washed himself with fresh water, dressed, put on his shoes, ate and went on a large beast of a male deer and male elk, brown bear and a grey wolf.

Good Yedyieen: My brother, I go hunting! Look after the house and the household! If luck turns, I will bring many preys from the hunt.

Storyteller: Bad  Kholdjugur  left the house to clean the yard (выходит во двор) He looked into the high sky and there seven Siberian Cranes circled above the alaas.

Сrane 1: Bad Kholdjugur, where is your brother Good Yedyieen?  At home or on the hunt?  We want to go down to you and to have fun!

Bad Kholdjugur: Cranes, cranes, get down! Let’s have some fun! My eldest brother is not at home now!

Storyteller: Cranes went down to the yard. They began to play. All that Good Yedyieen cleaned-cooked before, Bad Kholdjugur and cranes turned upside down and played, had fun, danced. Then they flew away. Next day 7 cranes flew again and had fun and danced with Bad Kholdjugur  and flew away.(GY entered  the house)

Good Yedyieen: Why didn’t you work?!

Bad Kholdjugur: Oh I fell asleep hard and overslept…

Bad Kholdjugur: Please, don’t beat, my brother…

Storyteller: He prayed and stopped beating.

Scene 2.

Storyteller: In the morning GY went hunting again. But he pretended to leave home, turned into a flea and dug into the door. He went out into the yard, threw up his head, looking at the serge. Suddenly, seven Siberian Cranes flew again…

Bad Kholdjugur: My sisters, my sisters! Get down, get down! Let’s have fun!

Crane 1: Good Yedyieen, is your elder brother at home?

Bad Kholdjugur: No, he isn’t, he went to hunt.

Storyteller: They begun to play and have fun. Suddenly, Good Yedyieen pounced on the most beautiful crane. And six of the cranes flew away. The elder brother threw off feathers from the Siberian Crane and it turned into a beautiful woman… He secretly brought down fallen feathers and hung them on a tall tree. So, he married her and they began to live together.

Scene 3.

Storyteller: One morning GY went to hunt.

Crane 1: Have you seen my feathers?

Bad Kholdjugur: Yes, my sister…

Crane 1: What do I have to get my feathers?

Bad Kholdjugur: Please collect me frogs, spiders, bugs and worms.

Storyteller: So she collected as he asked. And he gave him her feathers. She threw feathers on herself and flew to the high sky. In the evening elder brother came back from the hunting.

Good Yedyieen: Where is my wife?

Bad Kholdjugur: She put feathers on herself and flew away…

Storyteller: The elder brother sat on his horse and flew to the upper world. He climbed the bottom cloud  and met his wife with dancing cranes.

Scene 4.

Storyteller: GY flew to the upper world and got to Yrgel Toion.

Good Yedyieen: Good night dear Toion Yrgel! I’ve come to take your daughter Ydagan Yrgyyk with me!

Toion Yrgel: Do you want to go with him?

Ydagan Yrgyyk: Yes, I do, my dear father!

Toion Yrgel: Prepare your clothes and decorations!

Storyteller: They flew to Uy Toion.

Good Yedyieen: Good night dear Uy Toion! I’ve come to take your daughter Uidanga Udagan.

Uy Toion: Do you want to go with him?

Uidanga Udagan: Yes, I do, my father!

Toion Yrgel: Prepare your clothes and decorations!

Storyteller: They flew to Kyn Toion.

Good Yedyieen: Good night dear Kyn Toion! I’ve come to take your daughter Kyegel Udagan with me!

Kyn Toion: Do you want to go with him?

Kyegel Udagan: Yes, I do, my father!

Kyn Toion: Prepare your clothes and decorations!

Storyteller: They got ready to go and took horses and cows with them.

Scene 5.

Storyteller: He rode with three woman and got to their native forests and alaases.

Good Yedyieen: Somewhere I put a tarpon foxes. Stay here and wait for me…(немного спустя)

Yrgyyk Udagan: Oh, what is it?

Kyn Udagan: This is our husband! He is dead!

Kyegel Udagan: Can you revive him, Udagan Yrgyyk?

Udagan Yrgyyk: Yes, I can…

Crane 1: Am I sleeping or fainting? It is so nice here!

Storyteller: Three Udagans flew away without looking around their country. All their wealth, horses and cows remained in this world! They fell in love and lived happily. That is the end of the fairytale. Thank you for your attention!

THE END!
