Day One – Zurich
Zürich, the largest city of Switzerland and capital of the canton of Zürich. Located in an Alpine setting at the northwestern end of Lake Zürich, this financial, cultural, and industrial centre stretches out between two forested chains of hills of the Alps. Two rivers, the Limmat and Sihl, run through the city.
Day Two – Lucerne
Lucerne, the capital of Lucerne canton, central Switzerland, lying on the Reuss River where it issues from the northwestern branch of Lake Lucerne, southwest of Zürich.
Day Three Bern
Bern city, capital of Switzerland and of Bern canton, in the west-central part of the country. It lies along a narrow loop of the Aare River.
Day Four
Unterer Letten
The river flows below, the train speeds by above, Zurich’s skyscrapers in the distance: Unterer Letten is the oldest river swimming pool in the city, but it fits seamlessly into its industrial surroundings.
