True Beauty (webtoon)

Main Characters:

1- Lim Jug-Yeong:

She is a high school girl who has a low self-esteem and

she has been bullied by her classmates because she has

an ugly face.

2- Lee Suho:

He is also a high school boy who was very handsome but unfortunately he had a very tough personality because of the hard time he has passed after the suicide of his best friend.

3- Han Seojun:

He was also Lee Suho’s best friend who blamed him for their friend suicide. They both had really serious conflicts during the story but at the same time you can feel that they are about each others.

Plot :

The story talks about Lim Jugyeong, a teenager girl who was treated badly by her family and also was bullied by her classmates because she was considered to be the ugliest girl at school. Later on, she had to move to another school in a different area where she lived in her childhood; because of her family bad financial situation. However, this time she decided to by different so she changed her look by using makeup which eventually made her the most beautiful girl in her school and they called her the goddess.

At this point, the problems begin, on one hand the most popular boys at school Lee Suho and  Han Seojun were fighting for her love on the other hand, the girls who were jealous at her tried to bother her in any possible way to make her feel so insulted but at the end she was strong enough to face everybody with reveling her real face without fearing anything.

Book Review:

The plot of the story is so interesting since it reveals the realistic life that teenagers face everyday at schools.

The events are really exciting and I liked Lim Jug-Yeong’s character which is so kind and lovely. Despite of all the things that she had suffered in her daily life, she couldn’t change her personality however, she made everyone admiring her.

I definitely recommend you to read the story in order to know all the details because it will surely change your perspective of life.
