My suggestion for the new cover is an image of Sherlock Holmes because he is the main character in all the stories and he solves all the mysteries.

The Speckled Band

A woman seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes to find out the cause of her sister’s sudden death. Sherlock discovers that their stepfather killed the sister with a poisonous snake because he wanted to inherit his money

The five orange pips

Sherlock solves the mystery around the deaths of three family members. They received a letter with five orange pips and a paper with the letters “k.k.k”. Soon after the three men died. Sherlock discovers that the Ku Klux Klan organization is responsible for their deaths.

The Crown of Dimonds

A banker comes to Sherlock Holmes and asks him to solve a

case of theft of a precious crown. The banker suspects his son

is guilty, but Holmes proves that the banker’s niece helped her

lover to steal the crown.

Sherlock Holms

Sherlock Holmes is described as a man with a pipe and a detective hat.

He is smart,curious and sharp-eyed.

Dr. Watson

Watson is described as an english gentleman.

He is kind and curious.

In the book there is no description of the look of the main and secondery character. the reader can imagane the character any way he likes.

The character I liked the least is Dr. Watson, because he doesn’t add much to the story, exept the fact that he goes wherever Sherlock goes. He doesn’t help in solving any of the problems.

Recommendation

The book shows how a clever detective collects clues and small details, that brings him to the final conclusion of the mystery.

The book is very interesting and it makes the reader try to guess how the plot will end.
