Cap. 1

Something about me….

Hi, my name is Sara and I’m a ordinary fourteen year old girl. I’m tall with right blonde hair, expecially on Summer, and green eyes like the grass.

I love fashion and dress well. In fact my biggest dream of my future is to enter in the fashion world and poising in front of a camera because makes me happy and self confident. Now you still think that I’m egocentrinc… and you are right. In reality I don’t define myself that because I have many other characteristics. For exmple I’m funny, smart (this is what they told me but I’m not convinced), touchy, undecided, very distracted and delayed. In a nutshell: a mess.

Unfortunately I’m not very sweet and affectionate, expecially with my peers; maybe because I am an only child and therefore I have not been used to growing up with brothers or sisters but only with adults who however are always to sustain me.

Cap. 2

My family…

My family is very small but I have to say that I’m happy because they know me and always know how to help me ang how to manage my difficult character. This is composed by my father Marco, a man in his fifties with a degree in engineering who is now an employee in the Falconara refinery. He is tall, fascinating with graying hair and beautiful blue eyes. My mother Tiziana is shorter than me and my father. She has brown eyes and short hair of a coppery color.

Finally there is a hair black and white dog with a lively and cuddly character called Giotto, like the famous italian artist.

P.S. I love dogs and they are my favorite animals because of their sweetness and intelligence.

I define my parents as an appetizer because my father looks like a sparkling wine: he never gets angry but like a sparkling wine, he accumulates a lot of “pressure” that I would call patience  and than explodes In such an angry way it is almost scary. My mother, on the other hand, is the least patient person on the face of the earth, in fact, I associate her with popcorn because they pop all the time.

In any case, I want them both a world of good because they taught me to live and without them today I would not be who I am: my father helps me a lot for all the practical things in life, my mother for the sentimental ones and the other way around.

Cap. 3

Sport activities and hobbies…

I love dance, I practice it since I was four years old. I do classic, contemporary and a little pop and I don’t know which one I like the best. For me it is a sort of free moment because in those few hours I get rid of all worries and study loads. I like it also because I feel really good in something.

Regarding my cultural interests I often inquire, either on my own or for a scholastic research, on historical topics, but not too ancient, such as the two World Wars or more cheerful things. I also really like writing free texts of my own imagination.

As a hobby, I love hang out with my friends, mostly with my best friends. They are three fantastic girls called Giulia, Ludovica and Elisa. I am more linked with the last one because together we have made many adventures: we went to Thailandia, Sicily, Naples…

Cap. 4

My house…

I live in a little city called Falconara, in the Marche region of Italy.

My house consists of three floors. On the ground floor there is a bathroom, a recreation room and a space dedicated to my father’s passion, the music. In fact, in addition to being a lover of travel, like my mother, he loves playing keyboards. Going up the stairs you will immediately find a large room openly connected to a kitchen and a small bathroom. On the top floor instead there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. My bedroom is very small and for now I liked but I think that soon I will modernize it as I like best and especially suitable for a teenager. I spend most of my time here: doing homework, listening to music, putting on makeup … Is my favourite room, also because in the others I spend much less time.

Cap. 5

My daily routine…

I usually wake up at 7:00 a.m. and I get up at 7:15 a.m. to go to school. While I am triyng to wake up totally, I have breakfast with milk, coffee and some biscuits or cereal. At 7:50 a.m., after I’m done getting ready, I set out and I always meet my friend Vittoria along the way. At school I spend 4-5 hours (depending on the days) from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and I have the right to have a break between the second and third hour. There I usually eat a packaged snack. After school I returned home or I have lunch at my grandma’s house. She cook very well, expecially pasta ( my favourite dish) of any kind: with tomato sauce, fish, meat, vegetables…

For me it is a preasure to stay with her and oviusly with my grandpa. Sometimes after lunch I relax and other times not; anyway I start to study and I finish late because I’m very distracted. Towards evening at 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. I have my dance classes. During the COVID period, I did some online but I prefer to do them in person.

I finish at dinner time (8:00 p.m.). In my house there is a variety of meals: for example one day we eat eggs, an other vegetable with meet.

After dinner, if I have not finished my homework, I finish it and then we watch something on TV all together. Finally I go to bed around 11:00 p.m.

And you? What are your habits? What do you like doing in your free time?
