You Know You’re Behaving Nicely When… – illustrated by Yehuda Hilman

When someone tells you that you look nice, you should say

1. I always look nice

2. Usually I look even nicer

3. What do you know about nice?

4. Thank you

When someone invites you to go to  a movie, you say

1. Only if you buy me popcorn

2. Only if you buy me cola and popcorn

3. I don’t go to the movies with people like you

4. It is very kind of you to offer.

When you are wrong about something, you should

1. Blame everybody else

2. Apologize

3. Pretend you are right

4. Complain about everyone else being wrong sometimes

When someone asks you to repeat what you just said, you should

1. Tell them to go clean their ears

2. Scream at the top of your voice

3. Repeat what you just said, slowly and clearly

4. Just walk away.

When you shake hands with someone, you should say

1. Don’t worry, I just washed my hands with soap

2. Nice to see you

3. I bet I’m stronger than you are

4. Have you picked your nose lately?

If you like orange drink, but someone offers you a glass of water, you should

1. Say thank you and drink some of the water

2. Tell them that you hope that someday they will be able to afford orange drink.

3. Tell them that water is for goldfish

4. Stick your finger in the water, smile and walk away

When someone brings you a present for your birthday, you say

1. Why didn’t you bring me what I wanted?

2. When it’s your birthday I will buy you a lousy present too.

3. Thank you

4. If it’s an iPad, I already have one.

When someone offers you a sweet that you don’t want, you should

1. Take it and then throw it out when no one is watching

2. Say, “If I were as fat as you, I wouldn’t be eating those”

3. Say politely “No thank you, but how kind of you to offer.”

4. Give it to a cat.

When someone tells a joke you have already heard, you should

1. Say, ” I’ve already heard that joke”

2. Say, “I’ve already heard that stupid joke”

3. Tell everyone how the joke ends and laugh

4. Listen politely

If you throw a piece of paper into the wastebasket and you miss, you should

1. Kick the wastebasket

2. Kick the piece of paper

3. Pick up the piece of paper and put it in the wastebasket

4. Make sure no one is watching.

When you want to eat something and you notice there isn’t a fork, you should

1. Say, “Hey, how am I supposed to eat?”

2. Eat with your fingers

3. Eat with a knife

4. Ask politely for a fork

If your friend has an ugly dog, you should say

1. “You are much better looking than your dog”

2. “If I had a dog like that, I would never take him out of the house”

3. “What’s your ugly dog’s name?”

4. “Isn’t it great to have a pet?”
