Shuli the First, Queen of Rhodes

Until yesterday, Rhodes did not have a queen. Now they do. 

All hail Shuli the First, Queen of Rhodes!!

Yesterday morning, Shuli was invited to the Rhodes town hall to meet the mayor of the island. She gave him a copy of her book “My Passion for Rhodes”. 

He thanked her for being the most loyal tourist ever. He thanked her for writing lovely books about the life and tourism on the island. He told her that the island was looking for a queen. 

She accepted. 

Last night she was on television, and this morning her name is on the front page of all the local newspapers.

As her loyal husband and prince consort, I will have to get used to the new rules.  

Rule number one:   The Queen is never wrong. 

Rule number two: Even when the Queen is wrong, she is right. 

Rule number three:  No matter how late she is, the Queen is always on time (everyone else has shown up too early). 

Rule number four: The Queen’s jokes are always funny. 

Rule number five:  The Queen must be complimented. Often. 

Rule number six:  The Queen must visit Rhodes at least five times a year. 

Rule number seven:  When the Queen leaves the Blue Lagoon, the party is over. 

Long live the Queen!!!
